Face(book) Recognition

Facebook Face Recognition - Live Example

Seems like Facebook has implemented face recognition, asking 'Whose face is this?' and showing untagged people.

Maybe as soon as Christmas, but probably in the coming year, you'll be able to just upload a photo and it will auto-tag all your friends - just like Google Picasa.

Cons: Photos of you on the web are too easy to find.

Pros: You should have full privacy controls over any photo of you uploaded to the site.

Selling Up

Samsung Jet S8000 Mobile Phone

Over the past few weeks I've been selling lots of things on ebay UK to get rid of things I don't need for the move to Norway.

Most of the auctions for DVDs and games have ended but there'll be more over the coming week or two including; Samsung S8000, Nintendo Wii Fit Balance Board, Guitar Hero II and III (with guitar controllers) and more.

Check out my ebay Profile and if you see anything that you'd like - don't hesitate to bid.

"Frankie" Sandford

The Saturdays (Girl Group)

Just chattin' about S-Club 7, McFly and how boy bands are gay over in #myopera and it struck me...

Francesca "Frankie" Sandford (pictured, far left) who was in S-Club Juniors, is dating one of the guys from McFly (who undoubtedly had cracked one off over Sandford under the bedsheets whilst watching CBBC on a Saturday morning) and is now in The Saturdays, is hot. Really hot.

I never thought I'd say I fancied someone from S-Club Juniors.

Bon-bons

Bonbons, Bon-bons, Sweets

One thing I'm definitely going to miss about Urmston is Saturday mornings; where Sally and I go into the town centre, get some breakfast and take a look in some of our favourite shops - which includes the excellent Traditional Sweetie Shop.

This week's confectionery of choice was a colourful selection of bon-bons!
